Security, network and energy systems all depend on a sound electrical installation. So we did not outsource it, we brought it in-house: HD-Überwachung is a registered electrical contractor (installer registry no. E 0.2820) and may install meter cabinets, apply for grid connections and register systems with the grid operator.

The range runs from a socket in an old building to a meter cabinet with smart meter and tenant electricity. Plus the tests operators have to prove: DIN VDE 0100-600 for new installations, DIN VDE 0105-100 and DGUV regulation 3 in operation – with a report that stands up to insurers and the employers' liability insurance.

How often is DGUV V3 testing required?

Portable equipment every 6 to 24 months depending on use, fixed installations usually every 4 years. The intervals are set by the risk assessment; we propose them and record them in the maintenance contract.

What do I need for a new meter cabinet?

A registered contractor to file the application with the grid operator, a meter cabinet to the current technical rules and usually an appointment with the metering operator. We handle the whole process.

Can you register PV, EV charger and heat pump?

Yes. We are in the installer registry and register generation systems, batteries and charging points with the grid operator, including the German market master data register.

Do you take small jobs?

Yes, in the Kaiserslautern and Otterbach area also small jobs – often combined with an appointment for security or network work.
